Snoqualmie Casino - 2024

From the Daily Journal of Commerce, construction is moving along on the expansion to the Snoqualmie Casino. GCH has been working closely with BWA Architects on the expansion which will add a new 10-storey hotel, spa, entertainment venue, restaurants, and additional gaming floor space, and a new parking structure to the existing Snoqualmie Casino. The design includes new landscape around the proposed hotel and parking structure, and a rooftop sun deck which takes advantage of views of to the Cascade Mountains.

Crescent Ridge - Vineyard Pool - 2023

The community pool for The Vineyard district is currently under construction at Crescent Ridge in Crescent Bar, WA. The pool anchors the west end of the site and overlooks the Columbia River. 

The Lookout Village - 2023

GCH has been working with the development team at The Lookout in Lake Chelan for more than a decade. We are excited to share our newest collaboration with growing community. The Lookout Village will anchor the northwest corner of the community and consist of a commercial zone with additional community amenities, including additional parks, pedestrian connections, and green street.

Magnolia Residence in Luxe Magazine - 2023

GCH worked with Axiom Design + Build custom home that was featured in the September 2023 issue of Luxe Magazine. It has been wonderful working with Axiom and we are happy to see their outstanding architectural design get the recognition it deserves! The landscape design for this luxury residence included streetscape and arrival planting, outdoor lounge with firepit, immersive garden area, terraced garden area, native plantings, sports court, and bioretention zones.

Chelan Bay - 2023

The public area and trail connection have been completed at Chelan Bay, with continued construction on the development at large. GCH completed project visioning, site planning, open space design, and landscape design for this waterfront project in Chelan WA. The project includes a public park and water access for swimming, paddle boards and kayaks, along with waterside seating and a promenade.  Also included is a designated location for a restaurant and commercial area with "boat-up" moorage for visiting lake users.

Crescent Ridge - 2023

GCH has been working with Hadley Properties on the landscape architectural design for Crescent Ridge. The resort's new amenities include pools, pickleball courts, parks, open spaces, a community center, vineyards, a wine bar, trails, and an outdoor music venue.  

ViV Crossing - 2023

GCH is excited to be teaming with Encore Architects on a mixed-use project on Rainier Avenue South. This landscape design emphasizes the commitment to creating high-quality open space and strong pedestrian connections to the building from three sides with a pedestrian bridge that links the site to the nearby Mount Baker Rail Station. GCH is collaborating on several exterior spaces at grade and on structure for this new 8-story building.

Wayfarer at Yesler Terrace - 2023

Construction is underway on this housing development in Yesler Terrace. Shown here are a series of integrated bioretention planters that are currently under construction. Water collected from a portion of the roof will be directed to the planters and allowed to recharge the ground water system or naturally evaporate. GCH has been working with Vulcan Real Estate and Encore Architects on the reimagining of this historic block, which is one part of the larger Yesler Terrace redevelopment.

Discovery Park at Tehaleh in NZILA - 2023

The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) recently featured Discovery Park at Tehaleh in their publication; Landscape Architecture Aotearoa. NZILA promotes the profession of landscape architecture as well as sustainable preservation of landscapes. 

Winner WASLA Award of Excellence - 2023

We are very excited to receive an Award of Excellence from the recent 2023 WASLA Professional Awards ceremony for our work at Discovery Park at Tehaleh! Congratulations to all the 2023 Award winners, we very grateful to work in a community with so many talented landscape architects. Thank you very much to WASLA, and all of the volunteers that work to support the WASLA.
