Crescent Ridge - 2023

GCH has been working with Hadley Properties on the landscape architectural design for Crescent Ridge. The resort's new amenities include pools, pickleball courts, parks, open spaces, a community center, vineyards, a wine bar, trails, and an outdoor music venue.  

ViV Crossing - 2023

GCH is excited to be teaming with Encore Architects on a mixed-use project on Rainier Avenue South. This landscape design emphasizes the commitment to creating high-quality open space and strong pedestrian connections to the building from three sides with a pedestrian bridge that links the site to the nearby Mount Baker Rail Station. GCH is collaborating on several exterior spaces at grade and on structure for this new 8-story building.

Wayfarer at Yesler Terrace - 2023

Construction is underway on this housing development in Yesler Terrace. Shown here are a series of integrated bioretention planters that are currently under construction. Water collected from a portion of the roof will be directed to the planters and allowed to recharge the ground water system or naturally evaporate. GCH has been working with Vulcan Real Estate and Encore Architects on the reimagining of this historic block, which is one part of the larger Yesler Terrace redevelopment.

Discovery Park at Tehaleh in NZILA - 2023

The New Zealand Institute of Landscape Architects (NZILA) recently featured Discovery Park at Tehaleh in their publication; Landscape Architecture Aotearoa. NZILA promotes the profession of landscape architecture as well as sustainable preservation of landscapes. 

Winner WASLA Award of Excellence - 2023

We are very excited to receive an Award of Excellence from the recent 2023 WASLA Professional Awards ceremony for our work at Discovery Park at Tehaleh! 4552 Roosevelt Way NE - 2023

Final recommendation approval from the Seattle Design Review Board was received for the development of two towers in the University District. GCH’s focus has been on the ground-level public plaza and gathering spaces, creating an accessible and usable space that is open to the surrounding community and enhances the continuity between the interior and exterior spaces. We’ve also been working on the on-structure resident amenity terraces, which include lounge areas, outdoor dining and kitchen spaces, and planting.

5th & Virginia - 2023

GCH is happy to share that the proposed tower at 5th and Virginia in Seattle has received final recommendation approval from the Design Review Board. Sited adjacent to the landmark Seattle Center Monorail, the new MZA designed tower extends and preserves the existing historic Griffin Building. GCH has been responsible for preserving and enhancing the existing streetscapes with its mature London Plane trees, while adding additional on-structure amenities for residents of the project.

Reed's Crossing - 2023

Construction is ongoing for Reed's Crossing, a mixed-use residential community in Hillsboro, Oregon; roughly 12 miles from Portland. This region is home to Nike, Intel, and a number of other hi-tech companies which have created a growing demand for housing, shopping, entertainment, education, medical, lifestyle and recreation. GCH has been working with Brookfield Properties on the Master Planning and development guidelines for the 463 acre development.

Ultimately Reed's Crossing will include 3500 residential units with a broad range of densities and neighborhoods, a shopping and entertainment district, commercial and office spaces, medical, senior living, schools, and a network of parks, trails, and open spaces. The community is currently the largest mixed-use residential planned development in Oregon.

Soul Luxury Resort Community - 2022

GCH has been working on Egypt’s idyllic North Coast of the Mediterranean Sea providing master planning for the extraordinary, 680 acre “Soul” destination. Working alongside the Emaar Misr/Eagle Hills team, the group has envisioned a destination of unsurpassed elegance, innovation and sustainability throughout the region. The EcoLuxe destination includes more than 20 kilometers of water frontage and 1.5 kilometers of sandy coastline. A never seen before, elevated "infinity beach" in the property’s interior doubles the project’s sandy beach experience and provides stunning views up and down the coastline of this already sought after destination.

Chelan Bay Community - 2022

Landscape installation has just been completed on the public areas of this waterfront bay community in Chelan; GCH completed project visioning and master planning for the community, as well as landscape design for the open spaces, trail system and public areas. The project includes a public park and water access for swimming, stand up paddle boards, and kayaks, along with waterside seating and a promenade.  The community is also has a designated location for a restaurant and commercial area with "boat-up" moorage for visiting lake users.
