Haixia Youth Center in Fuzhou, China - 2016

Construction is underway at the Haixia Youth Center in Fuzhou, China.  The 33 acre site located in China’s Fujian province is a government sponsored project designed to host youth from around the world for sports and cultural exchange programs.   The site features an international level conference center, innovation center, cultural street, youth exchange center and sports complex located on prime South China Sea waterfront.  GCH worked jointly with MZA architects on the master planning and landscape architectural design for the project.  The landscape design was fundamental in linking the unique architecture into a pedestrian orientated campus. The success of the Haixia Youth Center is expected to set the stage as a model for future and similar projects in other parts of China.
