Parkshore Juanita Bay - 2026

Construction has recently completed at Parkshore Juanita Bay, a new independent senior living community in Kirkland. GCH collaborated with Perkins Eastman and Transforming Age to create a distinctive landscape design that integrates a range of outdoor amenities for both residents and visitors. Special attention was been dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of an existing stream and wetland, as well as the rooftop residential amenity that includes several gathering areas.

Ravenwing Ranch - 2026

GCH is collaborating with Ravenwing Ranch and Syndicate Smith on the site planning and landscape architectural design for The Highground, a planned riverfront community at the center of Ravenwing Ranch. Situated on more than 1 mile of Columbia River frontage, Ravenwing Ranch occupies one of the region's most dramatic and rugged landscapes. The vision for this luxury community is to thoughtfully integrate architecture and landscape into the natural terrain while minimizing environmental impact. The Highground is envisioned as the social and wellness heart of the community. Along with residential homes, amenities include a resort-style pool, wellness center, café, gathering spaces, and trails designed to celebrate and integrate with the site's extraordinary setting.

Rocky Pond Estate - 2026

Rocky Pond Estate has recently launched their new website showcasing the first offering of their luxury resort residences. The homes, as well as the surrounding resort, are integrated within the rugged natural landscape of Eastern Washington, offering a picturesque setting adjacent to the Columbia River. In collaboration with the Owners, GCH is developing the resort's overall master plan; including site planning and landscape architectural design.

Plaza at Yarrow Bay - 2026

GCH collaborated with SkB Architects to thoughtfully integrate a new amenity pavilion into the existing Plaza Yarrow Bay office complex. The landscape design prioritized preservation of the established tree allées and mature planting areas, while selectively removing high-maintenance plant species and outdated site elements to improve long-term performance and usability.

Seamlessly weaving the new architectural character into the surrounding plaza was central to the project’s success, resulting in a cohesive outdoor environment that feels both refreshed and inherently connected to its context.

Lake House Apartments - 2025

GCH developed the landscape design for both the ground plane and the upper-level exterior amenities of this apartment community. Particular care was given to the on-site wetlands, with plant selections and layout strategies carefully crafted to protect, enhance, and celebrate this environmentally critical area.

The urban landscape design reflects our commitment to creating high-quality open space and meaningful pedestrian connections. A diverse mix of community amenities, universally accessible pathways, and seamless integration with the existing public trail system work together to foster connectivity, inclusivity, and a strong sense of place.

1Hotel - 2025

1Hotel Seattle was recently awarded a Michelin Key in recognition of its exceptional quality. Congratulations to 1Hotel Seattle, owner Starwood Hotels, and the design team for their remarkable efforts in transforming this incredible property.

GCH is proud to have contributed to redefining the hotel’s landscape identity, creating vibrant public spaces featuring native plantings, designing landscapes that evoke calm and relaxation, and collaborating with a local artist specializing in living and preserved plant walls to develop several signature installations.

205 Tower - 2025

The proposed 205 Tower in Bellevue was recently featured in the Daily Journal of Commerce. GCH is collaborating with Su Development and MZA Architects to design the ground-level public plaza and gathering spaces, creating a welcoming environment that connects seamlessly with the surrounding community. The project also features on structure resident amenity terraces including lounge seating, outdoor dining, exercise terraces, and lush plantings that bring greenery and comfort to the upper levels.

Old Town Village - 2025

Construction is currently underway on the redevelopment of Bellingham’s Old Town district. GCH is collaborating with Dawson Construction and the City of Bellingham on both the urban planning and landscape architectural design to transform this former industrial area along the city’s waterfront into a vibrant new urban center.

Lakepointe - 2025

GCH recently completed the Landscape Design Guidelines and concept renderings for Lakepointe Urban Village, a planned community center at the northern gateway of Covington, Washington. The guidelines establish a cohesive framework for creating vibrant outdoor spaces that connect neighborhoods, commercial areas, and public amenities. They emphasize a strong relationship between the built environment and the natural landscape, supporting parks, trails, plazas, and open spaces that encourage community interaction and a sense of place.

Snoqualmie Casino - 2025

GCH has been working closely with BWA Architects on the expansion to the Snoqualmie Casino, which will add a new 10-storey hotel, spa, entertainment venue, restaurants, additional gaming floor space, and a new parking structure to the existing Snoqualmie Casino. The design includes new landscape around the proposed hotel and parking structure, and a rooftop sun deck which takes advantage of views of to the Cascade Mountains.
