Description: This large-scale planning project sets out to create a national and international world class destination on Failaka Island, located off the coast of Kuwait in the Arabian Gulf. Through the creation of vibrant corridors and unique yet cohesive nodes of interest, this master plan transforms the currently barren landscape and restores the island’s history and culture. The client’s vision included an island free of cars, enhancing the unique experience of the island for visitors.
