Description: The Danzhou master planning scope was to study the long range land use potential of the 4,000 acre site and to secure government approval for owner development rights, which included the creation of off-shore islands, navigable inland waterways and land reclamation.  The long term vision is a major tourism destination as well as new waterfront city on Hainan Island.  The scope covered all aspects of regional, city, resort and community planning and received jurisdictional approval from local government agencies.
