Description: GCH has assisted the Owner's group from the initial stages of planning and site layout through character development, landscape design, construction review and coordination. Neighboring the Gorge amphitheater on the Columbia River in eastern Washington, Cave B Inn and Winery is one of the most dramatic and unique destination resorts in the Northwest. Through a detailed design and site planning process, the buildings, trails, and amenities of the resort were nestled into the hillside vineyards while creating minimal impact to the indigenous landscape of the site. An infinity pool designed to perch over the Columbia River sits within existing basalt rock outcrops, a waterfall and a stream. This area also serves as a special event, performance and gathering area. World class artists performing at the adjacent Gorge Amphitheater typically stay at the Cave B Inn during their visit to the area.
