Wicked Problems Smart Solutions APA Conference - 2013

GCH spoke at a recent APA conference in Bellevue, WA regarding the collaborative process between landscape architects and planners.  The presentation - Solutions Across Scales - included trends and innovatve practices in landscape architecture, case studies, and opportunities for future collaboration.

Construction in New Gurgaon, India - 2013

The construction crew is busy in Manesar where design is taking shape.  Express Greens is a luxury high rise and town home residential community that will include 10 hectares of landscaped greens, 2 swimming pools with spas, clubhouse function areas, and a network of rolling mounds and colorfully planted dry stream beds.

Mr. Tan of E&O Berhard shared photos of the completed clubhouse and private water park at Quayside Seaside Resort Condominiums.  The construction team has done excellent work!

DMG House Reaches Up - 2013

GCH is working with Replinger Hossner Osolin Architects and team on this private residence in Seattle.  Construction of the house is in progress with beams reaching higher and higher and landscape installation just around the corner.

Seattle Met - Small Town, Big Plans: New Urbanism at the Lookout - 2013

The Lookout project is introducing Chelan, Washington to a different community experience. GCH is working with Ted Schroth and Casey Roloff on this exciting project. Check out the August Seattle Met magazine article!

Quayside Seaside Resort Condominiums Construction Progress - 2013

E&O Property Development is making significant construction progress at Quayside in Penang, Malaysia! The clubhouse, community facilities, 7 acres of landscaped gardens, and 4.5 acre water park are almost complete.

Seattle Center Urban Intervention Competition - 2012

In collaboration with Ellumus Architects, GCH entered the Seattle Center Urban Intervention Competition - a design competition rethinking a 9 acre site in Seattle Center.  As one of 107 entries from 24 different countries, GCH is proud to have been selected within the top 10.

Just published: 1000 Tips for Landscape Architects - 2011

GCH's designers were invited to submit ten ideas and tips for landscape architecture to author Daniela Santos Quartino. Their favorites were sent along with images from ten projects, including Haitang Bay Resort, Redmond Private Residence, Cave B Inn and San Juan Passage Community. 

Quartino beautifully presents a total of 1000 tips from landscape architects around the globe to share with all who love landscape architecture.
